21-Day Daniel Fast Meal Plan & Scriptures
Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that draws us closer to God, increases our faith, and strengthens our prayer life. The Daniel Fast is a 21-day, biblically based partial fast that eliminates processed foods, meat, dairy, and sweeteners while focusing on plant-based, whole foods. Below, you’ll find a complete 21-day meal plan along with powerful scriptures to guide and encourage you during your fast.
What is the Daniel Fast?
The Daniel Fast is inspired by the prophet Daniel in the Bible. In Daniel 1:12, he and his companions refused the king’s rich food and instead ate vegetables and drank water. Later, in Daniel 10:2-3, Daniel mourned and fasted for 21 days, consuming no meat, wine, or delicacies.
This fast is not just about food—it is a spiritual journey of prayer, devotion, and drawing closer to God.
